Donations In Memoriam or In Honour

If you make a donation in memory of a loved one or in honour of a special occasion, we will advise the family of your contribution.

Therapy Programs

Make a donation to keep our music and art therapy program going.  Your support can help us continue the program for residents of our special care unit, Care Home and the clients in the Adult Day Program.

Music Therapy

Music Therapy, on an individual or group basis (such as Bell Ringers), enriches the lives of our 100 Care Home residents as well as clients of our Adult Day program. Your support can help us continue and potentially grow this valued service.

Art Therapy

Art therapy provides such pleasure as well as emotional and physical stimulation. Many of our residents have drawings and paintings hanging on their room walls as well as in our common area.

Community Centre Operations

For those "North of 50", the Community Centre hosts a number of leisure, recreational and social opportunities including wellness and fitness, dancing/art/cultural/musical, card and travel programs. Seasonal and special events are held regularly. Identifying operating funds to continue these valuable opportunities is an ongoing challenge. many of our current programs require supplies and new programs require start-up funds.

Community Centre Renovations

The Community Centre building is over 30 years old. It regularly requires renovations to ensure it continues to safely meet the needs of clients.

Care Home Renovations and Equipment

Complex residential care is provided to 100 Residents, 18 of these in a specialized setting for clients with advanced dementia. Our care home was constructed over 30 years ago and Resident needs have changed significantly since then. we need to upgrade our environment and our equipment to ensure that Resident needs continue to be safely met and that Residents continue to be supported in living their lives to the fullest.

Assisted Living

68 tenants participate in this valuable program. Each tenant lives in their own apartment, including weekly housekeeping and laundry service; receives assistance with personal care, treatments and medications; and has available to them 24/7 emergency response, social and leisure opportunities, and two meals each day. Your support can help enrich tenants' lives by improving the environment in our buildings' common areas and by supporting social and leisure opportunities.

Subsidized Housing

All tenants are low-income seniors or handicapped adults. While BC Housing subsidizes the cost of basic operations, your support can help enrich tenants' lives by improving the environment in our buildings' common areas and by supporting social and leisure opportunities.

Adult Day Program

This program serves 11 clients daily who live in the community and spend about 5 hours at KinVillage. They benefit from health care and monitoring, some personal care, therapeutic recreation, a mid-day meal, education, caregiver support and respite. Make a donation to improve the environment and comfort for clients of this valuable program.
